The person behind the plants

Rooted in Florida.

A greenhouse-grown shop built around beautiful leaves, thoughtful care, and the joy of helping someone find the plant that feels like theirs.

Draft story for owner approval

Plants with personality, grown by a real person.

Little Shop of Horticulture began in 2022 and grew from a love of uncommon tropicals into a Florida greenhouse full of plants headed to homes across the country.

I want choosing a plant to feel personal. You should be able to look closely, notice the leaf that catches your eye, and know which plant is coming home with you. That same care follows the plant all the way through packing, with destination weather checked before the box is closed.

This is placeholder copy for the shop owner to revise and approve before launch.

Choose your plant

Selections are tied to real listing photos so buyers can choose with confidence.

Weather-aware

Silver and green pothos leaf

Pothos care basics

Most pothos are adaptable, but brighter indirect light usually brings stronger growth and better variegation.

LightBright, indirect
WaterAfter the top layer dries
HumidityAverage to humid
Watch forYellowing leaves
  • Use an airy, well-draining mix and a pot with drainage.
  • Let the upper portion of the mix dry before watering thoroughly.
  • Rotate the pot occasionally so growth stays balanced.

Hoya care basics

Hoyas prefer a light hand with watering and plenty of airflow around their roots.

LightBright, filtered
WaterLet the mix dry partly
HumidityModerate
Watch forSoft, wrinkled leaves
  • Choose a chunky mix that drains quickly.
  • Avoid upsizing the pot too aggressively.
  • Leave old flower spurs in place because many hoyas rebloom from them.

Begonia care basics

Begonias reward consistency: even moisture, gentle light, warmth, and airflow without harsh drafts.

LightBright, indirect
WaterEven, not soggy
HumidityModerate to high
Watch forCrisp edges
  • Water the mix rather than leaving water sitting on foliage.
  • Keep away from hot direct sun that can scorch tender leaves.
  • Give stems and leaves enough airflow to dry normally.

Buyer experience

Plants that arrive loved.

A record built one careful package at a time.

5.0
★★★★★

About 2,000 reviews, with a 5.0-star rating.

Buyers consistently come back to the same parts of the experience: healthy plants, careful packing, clear communication, and thoughtful handling when weather makes a trip more complicated.

Careful packing

Plants are secured and protected for the route ahead, with cold-weather additions available when needed.

Beautiful arrivals

The goal is simple: the plant should look like the one the buyer chose and arrive ready to settle in.
